This device, realized by CS Strumentazione Elettronica, is an innovative adapter for VoIP/SIP telephones, that offers high performances and functionalities.

VoIP-4 adapter, used with our CS8014 or CS6015 Telephone Tester, is the most economic solution to easily execute manual or automatic testing over VoIP and SIP Telephones.
Based on CS8030, the system becomes a true VoIP Conformance Tester able to test the requirements meeting TIA/EIA 810 and TIA 920 Standards other than European ETSI Standard.

Hardware requirements for using the VoIP-4 are:

CS8014 must be equipped with SGN-OPT+CLIP option.
CS6015 must be equipped with Actuators option.
CS8030 must be equipped with Special User Interface Option and in rel. 1.7.0

The VoIP-4 is compliant with various safety standards including FCC/CE and EN61010/93. Its power adapter is compliant with CD 89/336/EEC and CD 73/23/EEC standards.

Tests that can be done using VoIP-4 are:

Tests Performed

Direct IP calling of the telephone UT and establishment of connection.
Possible measurement of ringing signal level.
Measurements, using AC-3.5 or AC-4 Test Head, of SLR, RLR and SMTR with relative frequency responses.
Dialling, through the Telephone's keyboard, of the VoIP-4 IP address (default IP: 010.000.000.011) and establishment of manual connection for further tests.

You can define the IP address of VoIP-4 directly from WIN8014/WIN6015 applications.

While the application is running, select the menu “Programs/ WIN8014 setup/ WIN8014 local setup”, then open the card “Com/Net Port” .

In the text box “VOIP-4 IP address” type the wanted IP address, formed by 4 groups of numbers, separated by dots (10.0.0.11 or 010.000.000.011). Press “Set” button to enter the value.
