Strumentazione Elettronica is the construction of mechanical and
electro-pneumatic equipment for automatic testing operations.
Our
constructions are oriented toward two main directions:
1) testing of telephone components or parts, as printed circuit boards,
handsets, displays…
2) final telephone testing, with full or semiautomatic handling operations.
Many of our automatic test systems are based on the CS8014
Testing System.
Our Test Systems are normally designed over a specific
Customer product. They are not only optimized for the Customer needs, but frequently,
represent the less expensive solution.
CS8002 - Full automatic Telephone testing - Triple

The final testing for tree
manufacturing lines are controlled by tree CS8014. When an assembled
telephone comes at the final testing station, the handset brought-up to the
Ear and Mouth simulators. The pneumatic fingers take contact with the
keyboard, and the testing program sequence starts.
The entire process is
collected to have the telephone lot report, meeting ISO9000 requirements.
 CS8100 - Semiautomatic telephone

In
conjunction with CS8014, performs a complete functional testing for
the telephone printed boards, including eventual visual analysis of LCD
display.
CS8101 - Full Automatic telephone test
Equipment
CS8014
drives
CS8101, an electro-pneumatic structure where all characteristics of
a telephone set are verified and measured.
The telephone under test is manually placed on a pneumatic driven platform.
The Operator starts the test cycle, the platform is pulled-in the
structure and locked. The telephone is automatically connected and
pneumatic fingers digit the keyboards. At the end of the programmed tests,
the platform is pulled-out and the tested telephone can be removed. The CS8101
can be equipped with different accessories depending of the telephone
functions to be tested. An optional Code Bar Reader completes the
measurement data collection with the telephone serial number, letting you
able to obtain a complete testing report.
A typical testing time for a PSTN telephone, with CLIP and SMS functions,
is 55 seconds.
 CS8102 -
Automatic telephone

CS8014
drives the Automatic test Equipment CS8102.
The Operator places the telephone body on the slide of CS8102 and
push it until the end.
When the telephone is correctly in position, the test program starts,
locking telephone set and inserting the line and the handset
connectors to take the connection.
CS8102 can be equipped with a little anechoic chamber with measure
microphone to evaluate hands-free functions correlated with reference
devices.
An optional Bar Code reader will read the telephone serial number to
correlate the collected measurement results.
Pneumatic fingers actuate the keyboard and others
telephone controls.
At the test ending, if passed, the telephone is ejected.
