 The basic device to test PSTN telephone sets using tests
selectable from the table TEST FAMILIES.
The CS8014 Unit License is supplied for the use of the application of
WIN8014, which can run on a Personal Computer under WINDOWS®.
The WIN8014 application allows you to
compile test programs, download, display & record measurement results, produce test
reports and edit & save your program onto a disk.
CS8014 Unit is available either in Rack 19"
or desk cabinet versions.

Options -
SGN-OPT
With the SGN-OPT, the CS8014
is able to generate the typical central office signals such as dialing, busy or ringing
tones. It can also generate high frequency meter pulses other than DTMF signals to
simulate a remote user, sending codes to answering machines.
Options - CLIP-OPT
When CLIP-OPT is installed on CS8014, it
is able to generate Caller identifier messages, in accordance with ETS 659-1 and
ETS 778-1 (on-hook condition), as well as ETS 659-2 and ETS 778-2 (off-hook conditions).
The two style protocols, FSK-V23 or DTMF, can be selected. The CLIP
Option requires the previous installation of SGN-OPT.

With SMS-4
OPT installed, the CS8014 Test System becomes able to simulate a
Service Center for the Short Messages Service for a fixed network Terminal
Equipments.
The Test System becomes able to simulate a

Equipments. It supports both the protocols scheduled by ETSI Standard
ES201 912, Protocol 1 and Protocol 2, to provide the SMS over
PSTN. Both protocols offer the
opportunity to exchange Short Messages with other networks, e.g. GSM and
with other services, e.g. Email, Fax.
A
special option for developers, CS8014-DEV
increases the testing and development possibilities of the System.
