CS8014 - Test System for PSTN
Telephones
This Multinational Standard Test Equipment is
designed to test every type of PSTN Telephone Set, specifically meeting the ETSI TBR21/CTR21 & ETSI TBR38/CTR38
requirements. Using adapters, the CS8014 is able to test cordless subsets, GSM or other mobile
telephones, and, finally answering machines and telephone-faxes.

Environment
Its rugged construction, its reliability and
its particular test methods allow the system to be used in manufacturing
areas. Special measurement algorithms free the transmission measurements from
environmental noise influence.
- Program Special Features
The test sequence can be modified depending on
the test results, by obtaining test sequences with loops, repetitions or
subroutines. Each programmed test line can be associated with a label or a flux
control chosen between:

Programming
All settings can be easily made using the PC system. The sequence of your test program can be assembled by choosing, in any
order, among more than twenty test types and user functions. For each
test, default parameters and limits are suggested, depending on the
selected country specifications.

Data Collection & Reports
All test results are stored onto the hard disk
for elaboration at a later time. A Bar Code Reader output can identify collected data such as the
serial number of the Telephone Under Test.
If elaborated, it can produce either an EXCELŽ worksheet or a comprehensive report
including tables, graphs and statistics.

Test Speed
The maximum test speed can be achieved by
several tests executed in real time. Moreover, fully robotized testing can be
achieved by many programmable relays that can drive electro-pneumatic or
power-driven actuators.
